Today here in Mexico father's day was celebrated. But as I couldn't spend some quality time with my dad (who lives far, far away), I decided to go for the first time to a comic convention here in Mexico City: Expo Comic Mx.
I love comic books. They remind me of my childhood. And now-a-days that comic characters are so related to movies, it was a must for me to go and see what was going on.
Is far from perfect yet. Specially if compared with the amazing Comic-con (San Diego, Ca.), but it's a nice try to show what's done here and bring the fans some of their favorite creators and artists.
Here some of the pics I got today:
Richard LeParmentier, sci-fi actor,
best-known for his role in Star Wars IV: A new hope.
Guest star Herb Trimpe, is the creator of "The Incredible Hulk",
and first artist to draw Wolverine.

Everything was colorful and geek-cool.
A lot of costumes, comic books and suprises.

Tomorrow I'll show you a litte more regarding this yearly event. Enjoy!
